A message from Executive Director Sister Rosemary Connelly, COVID-19 Update:
Misericordia is taking all precautions necessary regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the risks associated with this virus. Our Emergency Preparedness Team and Administration are regularly receiving updates from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) as well as the City of Chicago regarding necessary precautions and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
We are so grateful to our dedicated and compassionate staff, and grateful, too, to the Chicago community for their love and financial/in-kind support during these challenging times, especially donations of masks, gowns, sanitizer and other PPE supplies. The safety of our residents and staff is of the utmost priority, and your support is greatly appreciated by all of us at Misericordia, most especially by our residents and their families.
To get updates on the residents’ daily activities, please feel free to visit Misericordia’s social media outlets:
Our on-campus Greenhouse Inn Restaurant, Sweetheart Shoppe in Glenview and Twice Blest Thrift Shop in Palatine continue to be closed due to the shelter-in-place policy. But you can still order bakery and Easter treats online at: https://www.misericordia.com/store/bakery/gift-selection/
If you have any questions or are in a position to assist in any way, please call Kevin Connelly at 773-273-4167, or email him at email@example.com. If you would like to support us online, please click on: https://www.misericordia.com/giving/donate-online/
Please know that you are in our prayers, and we ask you to keep Misericordia in your prayers as well. May God bless you, and may God bless every healthcare worker and first responder who is keeping our country and our world safe during these very challenging times.
