Misericordia Heartstrings Gift Shop
Whatever the occasion you will find the perfect gift in the Heartstrings Gift Shop located at 6300 N. Ridge Ave. just inside the Greenhouse Inn Restaurant. The shop features artwork and notecards created and designed by the residents from the Misericordia Art Department as well as a large variety of other items.
In addition to the incredible artwork, the shop also provides a selection of jewelry, baby gifts, children’s books and toys, home goods, women’s clothing and Misericordia brand apparel. For the finishing touches, you’ll find a wide selection of greeting cards.
Our Christmas Shop opens the second week of November and always promises to be magical with an assortment of ornaments, holiday decorations, and gifts for everyone. We also have the resident designed holiday cards and amaryllis kits from the Greco Gardens during the holiday season. Online orders for Holiday cards and amaryllis accepted via the Misericordia website.

Misericordia's Twice Blest Thrift Shop is located in Palatine on Northwest Highway
The Twice Blest Thrift Shop is unique among thrift shops due to:
- Its smaller intimate gift shop-like atmosphere
- Its wonderful quality of the merchandise, as well as the warm and welcoming spirit of the staff

The Twice Blest Thrift Shop, sponsored by Misericordia Heart of Mercy in Chicago,
is staffed entirely by volunteers.
All proceeds from the Thrift Shop go directly to Misericordia to further programs and
services for over 600 residents with developmental disabilities.
