Our experience hosting Misericordia Heart’s & Flour Bakery has been consistently outstanding. During the numerous bake sales we’ve partnered with them around, Richard Smith and the team have been professional, well‑organized and a pleasure to work with, making the entire process seamless from planning through execution.

The quality and freshness of the variety of bakery items were exceptional. Each baked good was reasonable price and were always met with positive feedback and enthusiasm from our staff. Beyond the delicious offerings, these events created a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that brought people together while supporting meaningful employment and skill‑building opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

I have had the pleasure working with Richard to arrange for the Heart's & Flour bakery Truck to visit our high school for the past few years. Richard made the booking process very easy and efficient. We collaborated to make a special menu with pricing to ensure customers had an idea of what they wanted to purchase in advance. Staff and students at the high school have always commented on the quality of the bakery goods, especially the irish soda bread, which always sells out! This is such a great treat for the high school that every year, I have staff & students asking when the bakery truck will be coming back. It is always such a highlight and has been a great cause to support.

The Misericordia Bakery Truck was a standout at the Edgewater Beach Apartments during Chicago Architecture Center's Open House Chicago. With 3,000+ visitors stopping by to see Chicago’s iconic pink building, the truck offered a warm welcome with fresh coffee, delicious baked goods, and friendly service. Every treat is made with love by the residents of Misericordia — and you can taste it in every bite!

The Mis contact was very professional throughout the planning and accommodated our specific item requests. They arrive on time. They are friendly to your guests. When the truck pulls away, there is no cleanup. We will most certainly use them again.
