Sami and Matt's Wedding

We are honored to support Misericordia Heart of Mercy, a Chicago-based community that provides compassionate lifelong care and meaningful opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Sami’s twin brother, Alex, has been a resident there for the past year and continues to thrive in an environment centered on care, dignity, and opportunity. Through Misericordia’s wide range of programs, including life skills development, employment opportunities through its laundry facility, and enriching recreational activities such as hiking in the forest preserves, swimming, basketball, arcade outings, and participation in community events across Chicago, Alex has found joy, growth, and connection.Sami’s mom and Sami are proud Misericordia Women’s League members and their family has contributed toward a residence named the Cohen House in honor of Sami’s late father, Dan. Misericordia has also become meaningful to Matt, who has visited, volunteered, and seen firsthand the impact of its mission. In lieu of gifts, donations in support of Misericordia and the life-changing work it provides would be deeply appreciated.
