Undeliverable / Returned Packages:
UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver a package to an apartment/condo. If the recipient does not accept the package by the 3rd attempt, UPS will return the package to Misericordia. Misericordia will be charged a fee for this and will not be responsible for resending the gift. A new gift may be purchased and sent.
If any portion of the address is incorrect or missing, UPS will make attempts to secure the correct address. This will delay shipment of the package and UPS will charge Misericordia a fee for this. If UPS is unable to secure a correct address the package will be returned to Misericordia. Misericordia will be charged a fee for this and will not be responsible for resending the gift. A new gift may be purchased and sent.
Misericordia has received packages returned to us labeled “Receiver Refused Deliver”. To avoid this, please let the recipient know a package is coming. UPS will charge Misericordia a fee for this and Misericordia will not be responsible for resending the gift. A new gift may be purchased and sent.
