Recreation Specialist

1 full-time Recreation Specialist position.

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation or related Activity field.

At least one year experience working with persons with Developmental disabilities.

Evenings and alternate weekends (flexible hours).

The Recreation Specialist will plan & facilitate quality, person centered leisure activity programs in Music, Creative arts, Wellness, Individual and team sports while adapting to meet the needs of all ability levels.

Starting pay: $17.00


Board Certified Behavior Analyst

We are currently looking to hire one part-time Applied Behavioral Analyst.
BCBA, Part Time or Consultant Position
Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field (or other certification pathway accepted by BACB)
BCBA required
Job Responsibilities include: evaluation of behavior needs, training, quality assurance and
BCBA Supervision
Will consider candidates with BCBA with experience working with adolescent and adult populations
2 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, experience with adults preferred
Must be flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to work within a variety of environments (residential, classroom, day training, and community work settings)
Ability to work independently and within a team


Developmental Training Instructor- Engage Chicago Branch

Multiple full-time Instructor openings in our Engage Chicago branch of our Developmental Training program. This position is M-F 8a-4p.

Must have a minimum of one year experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities.

Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in human services or another related field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology.

Developmental Training Instructors must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and comfortable driving vehicles of all sizes.

DTI's will develop lesson plans, goals and objectives through creating relationships with community partners, while interacting with ease and confidence .

Must be able to complete 5 weeks of required paid training.

Starting pay: $17.00/hr


Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)

Multiple openings for QIDP’s in our CILA homes.

QIDPs oversee the needs of the resident's programs, goals and community outings amongst many other facets of daily life. QIDPs work closely with Supervisors, DSPs and Guardians to ensure quality care and programming for our residents.

Flexible schedule which includes evening hours and working every other weekend


 - Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Sociology, Psychology or related field

 - 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

 - Upon hire, 5 weeks of paid DSP training

Pay Rate:       19.00 per hour



Multiple full-time DT DSP openings for our Developmental Training program.

The DT DSP must have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals who have developmental or intellectual disabilities.

The DT DSP must successfully complete 5 weeks of paid training upon hire.

The position is Monday through Friday only hours are either 8am-4pm, 9a-5p or 9a-3p.




2 Full-time Housekeeper openings for the 7am-3 pm day shift.

Previous housekeeping experience required and availability to work weekends.

Housekeeper Pay Rate: 13.40 per hour (additional differential for working weekends)
