Misericordia Conway Work Center
Residents involved in the Conway Work Center engage in numerous activities that promote independence by providing programming uniquely tailored to their individual needs. Among the skill areas addressed at the work center are:
- activities of daily living
- socialization and communication
- art
- clerical work
- production work
- recycling skills
Office Skills Training
Participants in Misericordia's Office Skills Training Program learn skills that prepare them for office support jobs at Misericordia and in the community at large. Training is provided in a "real work" setting with the goal of developing

Production Skills Training
The production skills program trains residents how to assemble and package products for internal use and for businesses and organizations in the community. Among the many services we can provide for you or for your company are:
- hand packing gift boxes
- carton assembly
- affixing candy to promotional cards
- lamp component assembly
- assemble webbed strap and buckle
- assemble holiday wrap and cards
Life Skills Training
Activities of daily living (ADL) are a vital part of all of our lives. For many residents of Misericordia, the acquisition of those skills is an important step toward independence. Residents work with staff to develop skills such as:
- eating
- dressing
- personal hygiene
- housekeeping tasks
